Okoliščine arhitekturnega načrtovanja se v tranzicijskih okoljih pogosto zdijo popolnoma nemogoče. Ravno s projekti, ki vzbujajo dvome že na začetku, ima A.biro dovolj izkušenj in iz obupnih pogojev mu je doslej vedno uspelo iztisniti zanimivo arhitekturo. Projekt za garažno hišo pri Kliničnem centru v Ljubljani se je sicer začel z zmago na natečaju leta 2001, vendar se je v petih letih, ki so sledila, z njim dogajalo marsikaj.

The circumstances of architectural planning in transitional societies often seem completely impossible. A Biro has a lot of experience precisely with projects which raise doubts right from the start, but so far they have always been able to achieve interesting architecture in the most desperate conditions. The project of the multi-storey car park next to the Medical Centre in Ljubljana actually started with winning the competition in 2001, but over the following five years there were many different turns of events.
