“Sve
se promijenilo. Kad sam otišla, sve se već bilo promijenilo. Ovo
je jedino mjesto koje je ostalo isto. Ono povezuje dva dijela
mog života,” govori mi. “Zagreb prije i Zagreb poslije.” Dok mi
objašnjava, vodi me u svoju oazu, malenu kavanu sjajnu od zrcala
i blještavu od intimnosti. Puls urbanog jamči susrete.
Postoji li bolji način da se upozna neki grad nego kroz oči drugih?
Zagrebački UrbanFestival, u organizaciji Lokalne baze za osvježavanje
kulture (BLOK), pružio mi je priliku da doživim grad kroz oči
Zagrepčana. Uzevši zaozbiljno čudnu sinonimiju koja se razvila
tijekom
stoljeća, točnije savez značenja između metode, rutine, stila
i načina, tjedan dana sam metodološki obilazila Zagreb.

“Everything
changed. In the time I was gone, it all changed. This is the only
place that is still the same. This place connects the two parts
of my life,” she says. “The Zagreb before and the Zagreb after.”
In explaining this, she takes me to her personal oasis, a small
cafe shining with mirrors and sparkling with intimacy. The pulse
of urbanity is that of guaranteed encounters.
What better opportunity could there be to get to know a city than
through the eyes of others? The Urban Festival in Zagreb, organized
by the BLOK, the Local Base for Culture Refreshment, afforded
me the opportunity to
experience the city through the eyes of Zagreb people. In taking
seriously a strange synonymy that has evolved over the course
of centuries, namely the alliance of meaning between method, routine,
manner and way, I methodologically walked Zagreb for a week.
